My first career was as a divorce lawyer. This was a fascinating job which I loved for the 10 years I did it but always at the back of my mind was my desire to have my own business. My long-standing interest in alternative medicine was the obvious choice for my second career and in particular Aromatherapy. I love flowers and I love fragrances. No other complementary therapy combines these so beautifully.

I began a two year part time course at The Tisserand Institute of Aromatherapy in September 1995 and obtained my diploma in 1997. The arrival of my first child, Maisie, followed 13 months later by my second child, Guy, gave me the opportunity to follow my dream and set up my own business. In particular, it was Maisie’s problem skin that was the catalyst. Having tried every available treatment from the Doctor (including a steroid cream) over many months, I decided to make my own cream and a bubble bath - Magic Cream and Little People’s Bathtime Fun. Within days, Maisie’s skin had cleared up.

I wanted to make this treatment available to more people as so many babies and children suffer from skin problems. I launched my Collection in September 2003 with seven products which I increased to thirteen in May 2004. My objective from the outset was to create effective, but kind, treatments for many everyday complaints, in particular those suffered by babies and children.

I am passionate about Aromatherapy and strongly believe in its efficacy as a complementary therapy. I want to share this with others, which I am delighted to do through my Collection.
